Yang Sen, deputy chief engineer of the company, was invited to give a lecture on non-destructive testing of bridges

On the morning of June 21, the Academic Report Hall of Gansu Communications Vocational and Technical College held the “Non-destructive Testing Special Lecture and the first phase of the non-destructive testing training course for bridges and tunnels”. This lecture was given by Yang Sen, senior engineer and deputy chief engineer of our company. Fu Qinghua, director of the Department of Highway and Bridge, Chen Yulai, deputy director of the department, Ren Xiaoyan, deputy director of the department, deputy secretary of the department, Jing Yan, department teacher Li Yanxin, Liu Jianlin, Liu Kaishan, Zhou He More than 140 students from Li Tiegen, Li Jinzhong, Daoqiao and Testing Professionals attended the study.

Deputy Chief Yang explained the theoretical knowledge of nondestructive testing for the students on the spot, introduced the development history of nondestructive testing and its significance and application in civil engineering, and analyzed the development prospects of nondestructive testing technology in the engineering industry. At the same time, we conducted a live demonstration of some non-destructive testing equipment, and introduced the technical principles of the equipment in detail, so that students have a more intuitive understanding and understanding of non-destructive testing.

At the meeting, the deputy chief engineer of Yang and the leaders of the highway and bridge department and the teacher jointly issued the certificate of completion for the 12 outstanding students (namely candidates for the national competition) of the first non-destructive testing course.

This lecture is a theoretical analysis of the non-destructive testing of civil engineering and the actual operation of the equipment. It is a good foundation for the Gansu Vocational College of Transportation to participate in the 2018 National Transportation Vocational Education “Uplifting Cup” Road and Bridge Engineering Student Nondestructive Testing Skills Competition. Through the joint study of teachers and students, we will comprehensively improve the relevant theory and practice level, and commit ourselves to building an excellent bridge and tunnel inspection team.
