"Non-destructive testing and monitoring system for prestressed concrete beams based on elastic modulus" was rated as the international advanced level

  On June 8, 2017, the evaluation of the scientific and technological achievements of the "non-destructive testing and monitoring system for prestressed concrete beams based on elastic modulus" developed by Sichuan Industrial Science and Technology Technology Evaluation Corporation and developed by Sichuan University of Science and Technology and Sichuan Shengtuo Testing Technology Co., Ltd. The meeting was successfully held in Sichuan Mechanical Design and Research Institute. Professor Wu Jiayu, Chairman of Sichuan Shengtuo Testing Technology Co., Ltd., and teacher representatives from Sichuan Institute of Technology attended the meeting.

 

 

  This conference gathers authoritative experts in many fields such as building materials, structural earthquake resistance, structural engineering, testing technology, sensing technology, bridge and tunnel engineering, etc. The evaluation experts are: Researchers from Sichuan Institute of Building Materials Industry Science, Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu University of Technology, China Testing Technology Research Institute, China Railway Second Academy, Tsinghua Sichuan Energy Internet Research Institute, Highway Survey and Design Research Institute of Sichuan Provincial Communications Department , Professor, registered metrologist, professor-level senior engineer and senior engineer. The expert committee listened to the project report, reviewed the evaluation data, and after inquiries and discussions, they agreed that the research results of the project had reached the international advanced level.

 

 

  The project takes prestressed concrete beams as the main research object, based on the theory of impact elastic wave propagation, and uses elastic modulus detection as the technical core to develop a high-tech, stable and reliable non-destructive testing and monitoring system. The system is widely used in bridge engineering inspection and monitoring projects and has achieved good economic and social benefits.
