On June 13, 2018, Shengtuo Testing was commissioned by Tianjin University to perform non-destructive flaw detection on the sluice concrete of the Haihe Erdao Sluice. Professor Liu Donghai, School of Civil Engineering, Tianjin University, Tianjin Water Authority staff, civil engineering related students, etc. came to the field to study and experiment. Haihe Erdaodao Gate is located on the main stream of Haihe River in Tianjin. It is a gate-bridge integrated structure. The project started in August 1984 and was completed in December 1985. The bridge deck is 14.6m wide and the bridge is 129m long. Huang Botai, our chief technology engineer, uses Rayleigh wave method (surface wave method) and single reflection method to detect the concrete defects and quality of the sluice floor.

的 The equipment used in this test is the concrete multifunctional non-destructive tester SCE-MATS-S independently developed by Shengtuo Testing, as shown below.

The instrument can perform a variety of tests on concrete samples from 10 cm to bridges and dams up to 150 m in length, such as concrete material (elastic modulus, strength), thickness, structural size, defects (internal voids, peeling, Surface deterioration), crack location, crack depth, etc. At the same time, it has rich graphics processing functions: such as elastic wave radar scanning EWR, computer tomography CT, fast planar imaging QPG, 3D slice technology 3DS, and automatic fast processing functions.

This underwater test uses the attenuation characteristics of Rayleigh waves to test the crack depth in concrete structures. This method has a large test range and is less affected by fillings, steel bars, and moisture. It is suitable for testing deep cracks. It has been granted an invention patent: a method to reduce the test error of elastic fluctuation signals by using bidirectional vibration, patent number: ZL200510021851.5 , Thereby greatly improving the test accuracy and practicability. The single reflection method for testing horizontal defects is to identify and extract the reflection signal from the test signal.
