Skills show off their skills, compete and compete for wisdom-the first National Transportation Vocational Education "Shengtuo Cup" Student Nondestructive Testing Skills Competition was successfully held at Nanjing Transportation Vocational Technical College from October 29 to November 2, 2018. This non-destructive testing skill competition is the largest and most extensive competition since the road and bridge special committee appointed the competition.

The non-destructive testing skills contest team is composed of more than 500 teachers and students from 26 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across the country, 48 vocational colleges, and 79 teams. During the competition, the judges judged with fairness and meticulousness; the contestants were full of vigor and gracefulness; all staff and volunteers performed their duties with due diligence and dedicated service.

On weekdays, it's easy to get on the battlefield, but it's not that simple. If you want to win in the field, you will test both technology and psychology. Every aspect of concrete appearance dimensions, concrete defect materials, and anchor rod lengths cannot escape the eyes of the examiner.
After four days of intense competition, the National Non-destructive Testing Skills Competition for the “Student Cup” of National Vocational Education of Transportation has successfully completed the competition and submitted the test results. And Tu Qunfeng, Secretary-General of the National Transportation Education and Teaching Steering Committee, issued certificates to the winning groups and individuals, and announced the successful closing of the competition.

Sichuan Shengtuo Testing Technology Co., Ltd. provided the equipment and related technical support during the competition. The designated equipment for the competition are: Anchor Nondestructive Tester (Model BE), Impact Elastic Wave Nondestructive Tester (Model PE) , Rebar Scanner (Model DE) and other equipment. Through the use of testing equipment, students further combined the theoretical knowledge and practice of non-destructive testing to deepen the course learning and improve the testing skills.

The "Shengtuo Cup" Student Nondestructive Testing Skills Competition forms a closed loop of the teaching philosophy of transportation vocational education and teaching: "promote teaching by competition, promote learning by competition, promote construction by competition, promote reform through competition". The competition stimulated the students' interest in theory and practice, cultivated the creative consciousness of scientific inquiry, and promoted the construction of basic training capacity in vocational colleges. At the same time, the skills competition clarified the development direction of the vocational colleges of transportation, gave full play to the college's professional and technical personnel training advantages, improved the quality of high-tech applied talents, and met the needs of local social and economic development.
