The “Technical Specification for Highway Pavement Construction” (JTJ034-2000) is now approved for implementation as an industry standard, effective October 1, 2000. The Technical Specification for Highway Pavement Construction (JTJ034-93), promulgated in 1993, was also abolished at the same time.

 

The standard is edited and interpreted by the Highway Science Research Institute of the Ministry of Communications and published by the People's Communications Publishing House. All units are required to pay attention to accumulating information in practice, sum up experience, and timely report the problems and amendments to the Highway Science Research Institute of the Ministry of Communications for reference.
